Bosnia 2024
Bosnia’ is intended as an artistic documentation of a journey through Bosnia.
The journey went from the northern part to the southern part in the areas of Banja Luka, Zenica, Sarajevo and Blagaj. Then the journey made a small detour to Croatia and went back to Bosnia. From there we travelled up the south-western border, from Livno and crossed the Una National Park until the trip ended in the Bihac area.
I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscapes and the generosity of the people. Many thanks to all the people I met there!
The war in Bosnia was not so long ago, which kept me in suspense for a few moments during the trip.
However, this chapter ‘Bosnia’ is not about the war. Rather, it is about the beauty of the moment, about the now when travelling. Sometimes cold and empty, then again wide and warm. What I always had my eye on was the brutalist architecture, which I often passed by.
Thank you for taking a look.
